About D’Agata Granite & Bronze
Owners John and Margie D’Agata opened for business in 1999 at their present site in Windsor, CT, which was the previous home of the Granite Monument Company. Both John and Margie grew up in Windsor and are active members of their church, the local Kiwanis Club of Windsor and involved in many community events and organizations in town. Their assistant, Lisa Atwood, grew up in Windsor Locks and is also an active member of her church, present member and past President of Kiwanis Club of Windsor and participates in many community events in town.
D’Agata Granite’s primary business is cemetery memorials and bronze plaques. Other products include pet markers, benches and ornamental pieces such as mailbox posts, vases, garden pieces, and address markers. Also available are various military plaques, cemetery flags and eternal lights.
D’Agata Granite does repair and cleaning of memorials. They do their own installation work (where allowed by the cemetery) providing the foundation and the setting of the monuments. On-site engravings are done by a professional engraver and etcher, both with years of experience. Since choosing a memorial for a loved one is not an everyday purchase, D’Agata Granite is here to provide you with information on the process of choosing a memorial and assist you with the various choices to fit your budget. Their reputation is based on your satisfaction and providing you with a service that will become a lasting memorial for a lifetime.
