Cemetery Regulations
Cemeteries generally have their own regulations pertaining to what they will allow. These may include the size of a monument or memorial (generally dependent upon the number of graves owned), color of the stone used and specific lettering or engravings. Some cemeteries are more stringent than others and we can find out all the proper regulations for the particular cemetery that your family is dealing with anywhere in New England or across the country. Catholic cemeteries and specifically those in the Archdiocese are the most conservative and usually require some kind of religious symbol on every memorial.
